Getting to know Turner Rawlinson
Turner Rawlinson is an independent insurance brokerage based in North West London, with over 40 years’ experience arranging insurance solutions for personal and commercial clients. Committed to delivering industry-leading expertise and building long term relationships, we have seen our business grow year on year, as customers consistently recommend our services. Allied with membership of Willis Towers Watson Networks, giving us access to a global network of resources, insurers and products, it enables us to provide a specialist, value for money, personal approach to clients across all sectors, with particular expertise in property and construction.
Insurance solutions for property owners
We specialise in developing solutions for property clients, in what is often a complex area, working with selected insurers to arrange tailored residential and commercial landlord covers on individual properties and portfolios of any size, occupied or unoccupied. We can also provide specialist cover for properties let to groups considered to be a higher risk, such as students, DSS claimants and asylum seekers and have expertise in arranging insurance for listed buildings, whether Grade I, II or II*, which face their own set of unique risks.
Expertise in protecting construction projects
The Construction sector faces an increasingly complex range of risks, calling for a broker with industry knowledge and experience. We provide cover for all trades within the construction industry, from sole traders through to multi-nationals, checking policy wording to ensure clients have full liability and contract works insurance in place, along with such covers as plant, tools & equipment, business interruption, professional indemnity, JCT 6.5.1 and so on, to meet the specific requirements and risks of individual projects.
Covering against latent defects
Following handover of completed buildings or units, defects can arise during the life of a building in the structural frame, cladding, foundations or other components. With access to specialist providers, we can arrange Latent Defects cover against the cost of repairing property should an inherent defect occur that causes or threatens imminent damage. Offering protection against such scenarios as defective waterproofing, underground seepage and so on, and covering the cost of providing alternative premises, this type of policy not only provides long term protection, but also ensures faster settlement of claims than if legal liability had to be proved.
